The William Franke Center for Apophatic Thought and Culture is a non-profit association (loi 1901, France) founded to promote research, dialogue, and creative activity at the intersection of philosophy, literature, religion, and the arts.
Its headquarters are located at the Château de la Frogerie (Maulévrier, France), a historic and cultural landmark that serves as an international venue for intellectual and cultural exchange. Maulévrier is a village in the far south of the department Maine et Loir, 7 km from the town of Cholet, at the crossroads of three regions: Vendée, Anjou and Poitou. 1 hour away by train is Nantes, the closest international airport. Paris is 2:30 hours away by TGV.
The association fosters:
